Was thinking of isn’t it better if MOE/Schools can inculcate on more real-life role-play issues instead of describing picture ?

may be we can also include/share commonly used emotive words for different incidents/occassions like:

surprise
happiness
excitement
sadness
disappointment
rude behaviour
helpful
grateful
content
well behaved
angry
fall down
accident
hurt and injured
regret
forgetful
loud mouthed
shouting
(pls add on to this list…)

etc…

just my thoughts this, will help help our kids to build the vocab also…

Depends on the context of the oral. If in the picture oral, it shows only animals, zoo is fine. If there is a signboard with clues to Singapore, then one can say Singapore zoo. If this is in the dialogue section instead of picture, then gotta listen how the teacher phrases the question...

你有去过新加波动物园吗？

I don't know any but I was thinking since nani started such an interesting thread, why don't we compile our very own here using the first post of your thread? Anyone can ask and then nani or I can help to update onto the first post here when anyone answers. What do you think?

That is good to know even though we have both learnt the correct term by now, thanks to the helpful lady who almost choked on her drink.

I was combing through Popular shelves for a P6 CL oral book...but couldn't find one which has chinese names of places like Bird Park, Zoo. The book I have at home is this one by Raffles Publication.
