I guess you might have mistaken regarding the citizen or PR or foreigner part..

If you're citizen or PRs in SG, you're entitled to subsidized fees. Plus there may be other assistance schemes like working mother rebates etc..

if you're a foreigner, you pay the full fees and no rebates/subsidies. Hence, the cost can vary greatly between citizens or foreigners studying in SG.

However, now the Govt is like trying to attract foreigners, not sure if the subsidies are extended to them as well.

And, I guess, Malay citizens don't have to pay any sch fees at all..

As for PCF kindy, it is usually less than $200 (not childcare). fees may very between diff centers but $200 is on the high side. Most are lower.

And, nursery/childcare/kindergarten fees >> Pri & Sec Sch fees.

PCF kindy costs $150~$200 per month.. don't know what they doing in class also.. and every now and then collect $$ for materials for whatever stuff.. and outing also cost $$.. if don't go outing miss 1 lesson..

Primary School is cheaper.. sch fee.. practically negligible.. just the textbooks, uniforms, sch bus making up the bulk.. plus some misc fees.

Depending on RC group tuitions, Mid range group tuitions, Higher range group tuitions or 1-1 tuitions.

Sometimes kids as low as K2 started tuitions.
