Please do not put ur kids in this kindergarten. Go to any other school if u can but never this one. I will never place my girl there. Yes, ms IXXXE is unapproachable n basically shes just weird. Back then the school do serve pork n ice creams to kids. Just take my advice n explore other schools for your kids benefits. You need a strong directress to be able to hold her staffs n strong rapport with parents. There r plenty of other good schools out there.

directress is indeed not very approachable but i find that she has been consistent in keeping the school standard. no comments on the principal as sheโ€™s new. overall school program is good.

You can check the MOE website. Bridges doesn't fulfill the 75% of the staff min qualification.


Lunch is provided if you are looking at full day. If you compared to other montessori kindergarten, Bridges is considered affordable. ๐Ÿ™‚

But then, just my thoughts. Most of the very good teachers have left ... you can check the pre-nursery/nursery teachers are relatively new. And they don't teach jolly phonics anymore.

I should be enrolling my daughter for next year

Like>
-Big and quiet campus like you mentioned
-Heard that all teachers have monte diploma
-The orderly and neat classrooms- heard students will put their marked worksheet into their own folders
-basically monte teaching
-I also like the extend classes from j.g and gym
-I saw their worksheet for k1 and k2. seems comprehensive and ready for P1

-I didnt realise the mosquitoes issues until you mentioned. How bad? my daughter is very prone to mos bite..oh no...
-I guess most school have high turn over but surprise for a monte school to have high turnover. So many monte trained teachers around?
-Unapproachable principle or directoress? the directoress(ms IXXXX) seems quite nice when i speak to her over the phone but the principle seems abit towards the quiet side.
-ALOT SCOLDING! that is very bad..I will monitor...

Cons>
Bring own snack or lunch. (dunno wat to bring?)
wear home clothes to sch (lack of discipline?)
expensive school fee (more ex than those branded school like st james, nanyang kiddy)

It seems quite difficult to find the perfect school! haiz

pros:
- Very nice environment. Spacious, open.
- There is extended enrichment for K1 and K2 which i find is worth the money

cons:
- mosquitoes issues
- Very high turn over teachers. My child has 4 teachers changed for his 3 years there.
- unapproachable principle
- A lot of scolding and shouting by one of the senior teacher.
