He’s a really patient and dedicated teacher. They have Science classes (primary and Secondary levels) too. The secondary level sci teacher is great too. DS also takes o levels physics and chemistry classes there.

My son received his Midterm Paper last Wednesday. It's demoralising.

He got only 52 marks.
A lot of 'killer' questions.
Talking of teaching less learning more.
Schools are teaching little but killing more! (Killing morale of students).

Does Math Workshop really help?
I try finding for Fabian's Workshop mentioned by you in today's paper.
But couldn't find it.
Can any body help?

Does any body has any idea if his workshop is effective?
I am not sure. I did not attend these kinds of 2, 3, 4 ---days course before. How to learn so much in 6 days? I also like to learn or hear from the parenrs/children who attended these courses before.

Actually I also wanted to register for creative writing courses (2 days). Then doubted myself that what can we learn in 2 days as writing is a skill.

Must think carefully before registering. Otherwise precious time is wasted.

He firmly believes in foundation skills such as working presentation, thinking skills, efficient methods...which I have seen in my boy after 4 lessons. As he takes in kids of all standards and he is not exam focus(eg. giving mock exam/papers before SAs) so no advertising of results achievement.

Does Fabian corrects the homework? Mine just started out no long but noted that the work hasn't been marked. But like I said, DS just started off with Fabian at the Holland Branch.

How many classes did you attend? Does he give lots of homework? Do we need to guide the homework or can he/she handle on their own? Send for enrichment and again we need to sit to guide them means, .........I hate it. Which level is your child? Is the class size is really less than five? Which day do you choose?
