Whatever the FDWs have to do for us in our household, they probably do that at their own home. Minus their husband and their parents endless demands and complaints… these people probably slog 24x7 without a word of thanks, no benefits, pinch every cent to make ends meet, etc…

At home they barely make $50, if they even have a job to begin with. Their condition of living is much worse compared to Singapore. And yet, when they come here, their countries stipulate what their min wages should be. So, better be a maid than be a housewife at their home, right? I bet no FDW will tell you that their husband or family make more than them back at home. Perhaps that is why, there is never a shortage of candidates intending to be FDW - whatever shortage there is, it is always due to restrictions from their own countries!!
