Pri sch not nec. You give it when they’re not mature or able to exercise self-control then poor habits formed at young age.<br /><br /><br />I’ve seen young kids addicted to hp games while waiting for parents to pickup or when parents call to check on what kids are up to after-sch but it’s so easy for the child to toggle &amp; answer cal w/o parent knowing how much child had been focusing on games &amp; not Studies.<br /><br />Kids can make calls fr sch common use phone or thro receptionist help. At home hopefully there is an adult to access thro phone. But I do u’stand for some parents are FTWP w/o helper or elderly to help supervise.</p>

They’ll want them when they’ll in sec schools. Don’t kill their fun giving them to early lah.<br /><br />I only give my kids after their PSLE, now they value more in using it for group discussion &amp; input ideas for sharing on google doc, etc. That’s when they need to learn self-control with gadgets &amp; ustand reasoning or u can teach them the marvels of technology and how they can use it in constructive ways &amp; limit their playtime or screen games.<br /><br />When gadgets given too early, kids do not ustand the value now nor know how to manage themselves &amp; gadgets. When they do not use them for constructive work then idle time is for self-gratifying time.
