can anyone help me advise on the following selection :-
1) Jurong - 226
2) Bukit Batok - 223
3) Hua Yi - 222
4) Unity - 219
5) Westwood - 211
6) Jurongville - 201

how are these schools. is there a chance to appeal for the top 4 chosen? :sad:

no HMT. nothing special for CCA. :slapshead:

BBSS dropped cutoff from 227 (in 2009) to 223 (in 2010). 4 marks.
New Town dropped from 217 (in 2009) to 202 (in 2010). 12 marks.

think so too. how about huayi? any chance? kinda like the school cos v chinese background with cultural interaction with china schools.

From what I can see you live more to the bukit batok and jurong area. Do you mind if your child comes to CCK. If you don't mind you can can choose CCKSS(COP is 216). Here are some options:


Bukit View COP:204
Dunearn COP:205
Jurongville COP:201
CCKSS COP:216
Westwood COP:211

BTW What CCA is ur DD in?

I thought of CCKSS too cos of the banding 7. thing is travelling is quite long for CCKSS.
went westwood and the school environment is so serene!
their program is also very holistic. sec1 with hip hop compulsory, sec 2 taekwondo and lower sec compulsory swimming.

You have pretty good chance for Unity. My neighbour's child is in this sch. I never see any students from this sch mis-behave.

Went to Hua Yi open house today. Quite happy with it. Found my old school teacher there...
