It will seem crazy or even impossible sometimes, but at the end of the day, trust me we will all survive πŸ™‚

Previous year was 10am, so both DD and I could still laze around in bed after we woke up, no such chance anymore except on weekends! πŸ™‚


I'm also an 'owl', sleep late and now gotta wake up early...DH said might as well 'train' now cos P1 even earlier! πŸ˜›

DS has been complaining for the past few days, as he needs to go to bed earlier than the past and missed out on his evening activities.

I managed to catch 6 hrs of sleep last night. The night before was only 3.5hrs.

The kids seem to be adapting well, no problems waking them up or getting them ready so far. With this schedule, I suddenly find myself with a lot more time. Went for a 1.5hr brisk walk this morning. Problem is I am still not used to sleeping earlier. Been getting only about 5hrs sleep tops everyday so now getting a bit scatter brained.


Kids too are finding that they have a lot more time. DD is saying she prefers being in the morning session too.

DD's first day in K1 went smoothly. Despite the long school holiday break, she seems to adjust well, no signs of anxiety or reluctance to go to school. I saw a couple of new kids from her class wail loudly and cling on to their parents refusing to let go. DD and most of her classmates from previous Nursery class adapt well, so looks like sending my DD for Nursery last year was a right move. πŸ™‚

haha..yes..parents should start kids at PreN or Nursery so that they can settle in well and start actual learning in K1. πŸ™‚ my preschooler is so happy to be back at school. πŸ™‚

followed instructions well.. πŸ˜‰

some of his fellow K2 classmates were in the same sch too but with 7 P1 classes, they were all spread ard... haha..

but of cos during recess, they met & big grins & hellos were given..

but sad to say, he lost $0.60 on the 2nd day of sch... :roll:

after today, we can all congrat our child for surviving the 1st week of P1 school life... more to come.. :evil:

I stay around the parade square until the last class went up, so the entire place was empty. When i was about to leave, saw a little girl came running into the parade square, obviously very late.


She put her bag down on the ground, stand there and waited. It too some very looong seconds before she realised that assembly was over and ran up the stairs to her classroom. not before putting a wide grin on my face.

Parents if you are late for school please tell your child to go straight to the class room πŸ™‚
Maybe she thought she was the first girl in school and no one else had arrived yet. πŸ˜„
