It's important to bond with your baby through cuddles and talking, even if they don't understand words yet. Always watch out for your baby's safety, as they're curious explorers like mine haha 😆

mommyzhi

Reply to New Born Baby on Sat, 13 May 2023 12:01:02 GMT

Yup, my baby not only stretch but also jerk alot under the swaddle. He begins to inhale loudly for 5 minutes, does not cry, just looks at me with alarm. I was very scared, I thought that asthma is similar sounds (like a cat’s, before someone burps the coat, as someone understands), and after 4-5 minutes (from my panic) it’s like nothing happened, lies, but there are many in the diaper. This was repeated for several days, I recorded the process and the reaction after it on the video, showed it to the doctor. I introduced complementary foods for a week. We are on artificial feedinghttp://fishreeler.com//

- Often they offer to drink water, it may be from the introduction of complementary foods, it will pass over time, but if it often really worries, consult a neurologist.

Fishreeler

Reply to New Born Baby on Sun, 19 Jan 2020 15:33:44 GMT

CarenL\" post_id=\"1953016\" time=\"1576218092\" user_id=\"165804:

I am asking on behalf of my sister-in-law. Is it okay and normal for a 3-week-old child such thing?

I think it's ok. There's really no \"typical\" burping position, so whatever works for your LO is probably fine. My little girl used to burp better when she was sat upright, but then it stopped working and we had to change her burping position to over the shoulder for a while. Although I would advise against laying baby down immediately after he has finished drinking as there is a chance that the milk will be regurgitated back out. Maybe keep him in an upright position for a while before laying him down to burp.

tessdeomma

Reply to New Born Baby on Mon, 13 Aug 2018 06:16:01 GMT

Hi, sometimes they will stretch if they have a tummy gripe, but it will also be accompanied by uncontrollable crying. At first, I thought there was something wrong but when I asked my Pedia about it he said it was normal for a newborn to do that as they are growing so fast. To avoid colic, he mentioned to always burp the baby right after drinking milk. Also I'm using a baby bottle that can lessen colic issues. Hope this helps.

JassyT

Reply to New Born Baby on Tue, 26 Sep 2017 08:42:02 GMT

It’s a hard job to look after little baby.
