<![CDATA[Club 2001 Kids]]>Hey everyone!

I realised there weren’t any 2001 kids’ clubs so thought I’d start one. Anyone with children born in 2001, especially only children? I have a 10-year-old boy and would like to meet others who have singletons too.

Time flied.... our children are 18 this year.

Some in ITE, some poly and some is taking A level this year. 🙂

Some may even have girlfriend / boyfriend liao. :imcool:

Myself Sharon. I have a bake house in Toronto. My family consists of hubby and 2 sons(2 years and 1 year old). My house is really busy now. I don't have time to look into the bake house, as the children make a busy schedule for me. Somehow, my husband manages to look at the bake house and I'm feeling little relaxed.
Friends, I have got a problem that the children use to pass urine on mats, sometimes on mattress sometimes even on the floor which makes awful smell later.
We feel ashamed when our friends or family or relatives visit our home. One time one of our relatives informed us about the smell. I tried to use bicarbonate of soda to remove the smell and other stains. But, it failed. The bicarbonate of soda didn't last long and the smell remains.
So we surfed through the internet and found that there is http://www.citywidemaidstoronto.com/services/ and we discussed with my family and had different reviews. We are really confused about the services. We don't have any ideas regarding these services.
Friends, I would like to know more about the services. Do anyone have any experience of this service? Are they affordable? Will they be able to remove the smell?

So glad I found this thread. I have a 2001 boy, Sec 2. How do your kids spend their holiday/free time now that exam is over? I can't seem to find any activities suitable for our pre teens that do not cost a bomb. I want to get him off his online games.
My girl will be busy with her CCA during school holiday. There is afew training + meeting scheduled. 1 of it crash with our tour. 😛

My dd, I feel now she will give us the "irriating" expression if we nag too much on her. 😛 Hence, I try to control myself to "nag" less. I am "trying". LOL!!! And now she love to sing those pop song. mmm… generation gap, I don’t know what she is singing. LOL!!!

The thing I am happy with is, she still love to hold my hand when we go out and she still hug me. 😛

He joins the band and plays Tuba, a very big instrument as he is very big size.

My DD loves Readers Digest. She got hooked since P5. But mostly just to read the jokes. Despite our encouragement, she doesn’t like to read the newspapers. Still prefers story books. Various authors. At one time, she was into Jodi Picoult but now tells me the theme is about the same.

Just before the year started, we went to kino. Went to popular too. Bought "To Kill a Mocking Bird". I don’t think she has started on it at all. Just sits on her bookshelf looking so new.

Quite relaxed at school so far, probably cos 1st term only. I keep reminding her to revise or read ahead cos Term 2 onwards, work will get more challenging. But she’s still dragging her feet about it. Maybe when she gets results of common tests, she’ll sit up…
