I don't have any problem topping up my ez link cards using DBS ATM until these 2 weeks. It seems that transactions are blocked. Does anybody have the same problem? Thought it could be one of their new security measures in place.
Had a spot of trouble activating my new debit card and had to queue for 45min at branch to do it. Was able to top up my nets flash pay, no issue. Haven't tried ezlink card though.

Btw, think its really stupid. They preset limit on debit card to $1 but if you wanna raise it, it's a min of $500. Why the jump?

To capture the PIN, they would ve to overlay the number pad w a fake number pad.

my belief is that DBS has the most number of machines. Easier to find one to 下手. That means we should put our money in, say maybank? They dont have that many ATMs for one.

Wonder how did this happen again. Think there are more issues than what has been reported in the news.

Yes, those pp who use their atm card should be held responsible (based on the little I know). The banks say and say a lot on how pp should ensure privacy when withdrawing but I see pp withdraw money without a care in the world. When their cards get compromised, then how?

I can't say I won't ever fall prey, but now when i withdraw money, I will make it a point to cover the keypad, and also look at the card slot to make sure it doesn't look dodgy. When I make payments online, I do get worried and will ensure that I monitor my transactions frequently.
