<![CDATA[Good recommendation on Android apps for Chinese dictionary?]]>Hi, can anyone recommend any good android apps dictionary for Chinese ? I really need those apps as I am the only person my gals can approach for their ch hw as the dad often comes home pretty late.


Which apps can tell the meaning and usage (preferably in eng as I do not learn Ch during my time) after keyed in the ch character??? :?:

You are correct, the Hanping version is not approve by MOE.
I just need to download it on my mobile for easy access whenever my gal encounters any problem with her CL HW. I don't quite like the Creative E Dictionary as the screen and font are super small for me to look at. 😓 I took quite a long time to search for info as I am not Chinese ed. Trying my very best to help my gal.Quite stressful though! :frustrated:

Hanping Chinese. It can recognise both Pingying and English.

but this is not in the approved list of chinese e-dictionaries, right?

MOE approved list of chinese e-dict are:
HansVisionPX2051 e-dict or HV PX2051 e-dict and HansVision PX2101 e-dict both by Creative Technology Ltd. The Approved period: 2011 - 2015.

If you get the Besta ones, you may not be able to use it after 2014.
