My 10yo girl is having mild diarrhea… tried to give her lacteal fort powder but she hates the taste… can i put the powder into Yakult? or other drinks?

All pharmacies. It's on the shelves, don't need to ask the pharmacist. Near Gaviscon etc... But it's kinda mild imho... you'll need something stronger if it's bad diarrhea.

Lacteol fort is very useful in both diarrhea and constipation. If a person is constipated, try taking lacteol fort, it will helps to remove bowel naturally.

The content in Yakult is not much.

Babies not on solid food drink milk.
We've never had issues with either
Yakult or milk taken with LF. Water
intake is important to keep children
hydrated with the loss of water from
the body due to diarrhoea.

But you can certainly put it in her foods.


btw, drinking water from teochew porridge (just boil rice in a lot of water) is good for upset stomachs.

For our babies, our doc said can add into milk bottle.
This powder is effective. Just a few sachets and the diarrhoea
will be gone. Remember to keep your child hydrated. Hope she recovers soon.
