Singapore is indeed blessed. We do not have suffer effects of tornado, volcano, earth quake and other natural calamities. Raffles has foresight.
But the feeling of staying in a house facing the sea is still scary to me.

if hit in-land, where can we run to ?


Our highest hill is Bukit Timah hill ... not sure if is high enough to overcome big strong, high tsunami waves. maybe SG should start conduct civil defence, help everyone practise running to this hill seek refuge for days ? The higher ground we run to, the safer we are.

or time for SG to explore the idea of building a big Noel ark, big enough to let people hide inside, seek refuge for a period of time from strong tsunami waves hitting entire island, if really hit in-land one day?

High time to plan and execute trial run emergency crisis solution, nation wide.


Maybe the show \"Noose\" is correct - govt built Marina Bay Sands in case tsunami strikes, the top (which shapes like a ship) can \"transport\" us... However, i think it is \"Member Only\"! :rotflmao:
only way of escape is to remain on high ground, remain in helicopters / hot air balloon in the air, or hide inside a big stable ship that'll not be tossed around by the high forceful tusnami waves. Depends on what ship material is made of.

it didn't happen to SG yet doesn't mean ... it will never happen to SG one day.
