I've known mine since we were teenagers. My best friend is travelling these couple of weeks. Dh rejoyced and said he could enjoy some silence. True enough, these few days I began to notice the near to complete silence of my sms ringing tone.

While waiting to fetch my kids 2 days ago, I scanned through the entire list of friends stored in my hp & yet I didn't know who to sms to, to chit chat while waiting, so bored when she's not in town. Although I do keep in touch with other girlfriends but usually couldn't keep the conversation going and would stop after 1 or 2 sms. I probably send dh around 10 sms each month while with my best friend, we can easily hit 200 & more each month.

My dd showed me her essay today. She wrote about how she would spend an entire day with her best friend. I found her 'itinerary ' strangely familiar. She laughed and replied that's because she modelled those activies after what my friend & I usually did on our day out.

It's really nice to have a best friend :hi5:

Having a best friend whom you can share everything about and who won't judge you is the best thing. he/she won't leave you especially when things go rough.

being with a best friend is such wonderful you can share about your thoughts and your problems.

Yes. It's really good to have a best friend. He is always there when I need him. He's all ears to my rants and dramas in life. I owe him a lot.
Having a best friend is the best gift I reserve in my life. Best friend that always there for you and always care for you, someone that is one call away and always there to listen to your rants. So always love your best friend and make them feel important always.

Maybe it is just me, but since I was small, I never cared about having many close friends. I am the type who dislikes small talk. I see it as superficial and waste of time. Now I think I have only 2 best friends. And a few friends. The rest are just acquaintances.

This is true ha ha! As you grow older you'll never going to find a new bestfriend aside from your partner. Bestfriends usually grow when you're together doing silly things while young!
