After the party, I took more than 3 days to recover!<br /><br />Why do you say you \"used to\" have makan sessions?[/quote]<br /><br />Hi SarChar, due to additional family member (new sil),things changed drastically. sil is very er... insincere typed of person,always very sarcastic towards everyone. all my other sils (DH's sisters) also felt the same way too.Well, don't know intentionally or ortherwise.<br /><br />Prefer not to cook at mil place as all the cooking made a mess in the hse (btw she is staying with mil). So to prevent family hormony , we take turns to host makan session or eating out.  3 yrs now, still the same. Keeping a certain distance from her is for the best of everyone  :siam: <br /><br />Btw, I like all the utensils you have... I love buying all my utensil in white .. Metro has much nicer designs now. I also have a glass stand to serve ham or cake and a nacho/dip plate. All other salad bowl or dishes are only in clear glass so that it will look more uniform on table. <br /><br />I bought the table cloth from Spotlight. This year my guests started attacking the food before I had a chance to add trimming and candles to the table setting! So I just let it be.....<p></p></blockquote>haha your food must be very nice. Along with 24/7 nursing facility. As therer are some awesome old age home projects are working around some countries.</blockquote></blockquote><br />although still quite a young couple, at least young at heart :), me and my wife have already started planning what to do during old age. Seriously, i mean we are seriously planning. <br /><br />We would be working harder now, so that we can enjoy our rewards later in life. Kids would probably have their own world, i mean look at most of us now. I mean, i still have meals 3 - 4 times a week with my parents, but that's about it. I would provide them with allowances as well. But how my mom spends her time? She goes to KTV at CCs, and go for courses and participate in CC activities. <br /><br />For me and my wife, we know that most probably our kid will have her own life too. We are looking at places for us to really spend our remaining years. <br /><br />Unfortunately Singapore is slightly too expensive for older folks. We are just looking across the causeway. We have a place in Singapore, but we are just looking around.
