Prior to this I waited whole day at home till night because the online status showed that item was with courier. Liar. I called and gave them a scolding. The courier told them he delivered. Geez, I asked them if he appeared at my doorstep, then where is the notification slip for redelivery? There was also no record from guard house! Two weeks later, I knew something was fishy when the online status showed another item was with courier in the morning but I didn't receive after many hours. I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw the online status stated failed attempted delivered again when I was home all the while. There was not notification on redelivery too. It was maddening. And it happened twice within two weeks. I never encountered such unhappy experience with them in the past. I was at home and there were no notification slips!! I was dismayed to discover that the status online showed something like this: Attempted delivery but failed. Which other reliable service can we used then ? I was thinking of turning to DHL after my bad experience with Singpost.
For my speedpost item(which promised a 4 day delivery), upon the item arrival at Singapore(took 2days) , I check the online status and for 4 days the item was \"with delivery courier\". Calls to Singpost yield nothing. Finally after 9 days from the original sendoff date, a delivery boy (much like your pizza delivery man) came to the door and he claim he is not the person responsible, he is only helping a friend to deliver. I am appalled with their delivery service.
Calls to hotline is always answer by staff with Fillipino accent and you will be put on hold (while they check the status) and while they call for their supervisor(another long wait) and in the end after half an hour of waiting , absolute nothing has been done. I think these call centres have all been trained to do \"Tai Chi\" with the Singpost customers.

Singpost customer service's people really make me confused. Either they hardly understand me, or I hardly understand them, when spoken to. How to have effective communication :?

 Don't have good services locally anymore :? Seems like most delivery services got some sort of \"bad experience\" faced by customers.

Oppsgal
