No worries about safety, in fact, they look no different from a jet plane from the inside. Flying to Redang is actually very convenient. Quick flight, you land on the island itself, and from there is a short ferry to most resorts and a very short bus ride to the Taaras Resort (previously Berjaya). The beach is beautiful and the waters are fantastic. Food is nothing spectacular, but a great place for a few days R&R.

fable

Reply to Romantic Destinations on Wed, 18 Sep 2013 15:48:33 GMT

Thanks dnls-mum. It was great. One morning, we ordered a picnic basket and brought it with us to the beach. My experience with service and spa at all the banyan trees have been great. Their villas are also beautifully furnished in accordance to the local flavor. Best of all private jacuzzi or pools are so luxurious.
