When I asked her for the reason, she said she was not focused (she did her work between 3 and 4.30pm).

She has about 7.5 hours of sleep daily. I wonder if there is some specific food that could help children to be more alert and focused…

any advice please… thanks!

So bad news for those who like them especially those cooked in sweet desert soup!

Besides ample rest and proper nutrition, students need to work on their carelessness by adopting a better attitude towards their work and taking pride in the work they produce. Checking and rechecking is essential after work is done. It takes time to change bad habits and encouragement is the key.

I think you should take care of her study. Check whether she is doing her homework and understanding everything properly or not. If not then you should give some time to teach her.

School student needs to sleep at least 9 to 10 hours a day. Sleep deprivation leads to lower alertness and concentration. It also impairs memory. It’s more difficult to focus and pay attention.
As for foods, a diet rich in essential fatty acids, fruits, vegetables, supplements (gingko) does wonders for your brain power.

JMHO..

Mommilicious
