Wow! quite a lot of work. I think your PR skills are good.

Actually when you consider that it is her full-time job, it's not really that much. You just need a system that you stick to. All of my maids have managed it as well as helping to look after the children and they are always done with their work after dinner.

This is a very old schedule from a few years' ago; I haven't needed to do it for my subsequent maids. We left her to manage her own time as long as she did everything on this list. (Note: we live in a terrace house so not all will be relevant if you are in a flat)...

Hello everyone,


Can anyone share with me the list of house rules and housework timetable for your FDW? Thanks!!

This is a very old schedule from a few years' ago; I haven't needed to do it for my subsequent maids. We left her to manage her own time as long as she did everything on this list. (Note: we live in a terrace house so not all will be relevant if you are in a flat).

Daily
1.\tPrepare & serve meals.
2.\tWash dishes & clean kitchen after meals.
3.\tEmpty rubbish bins in children’s bedroom & kitchen
4.\tPack away toys in the evening
5.\tSoak & wash nappies
6.\tWater grass and plants
7.\tVacuum and mop kitchen, living & dining rooms

Once every two days
1.\tWash children’s clothes
2.\tClean 2nd floor (including stairs) with MagicClean
3.\tWipe table/chairs/sofa in living & dining rooms

Twice per week
1.\tWash clothes
2.\tVacuum & mop all other floors
3.\tVacuum rugs in living room, children’s room & master bedroom

Weekly
1.\tClean rest of the house (wipe tables, chairs, cabinets, mirrors etc.)
2.\tClean bathrooms (wash bath/shower, basins, clean toilet, mop floor etc.)
3.\tEmpty rubbish bins in living room, bedrooms & bathrooms
4.\tChange & wash bed sheets & towels
5.\tBrush and wash car porch & outside back of house.
6.\tVacuum house entrance mat
7.\tWrite shopping list for groceries, baby supplies (pampers etc.) and cleaning supplies.
8.\tClean & wash rubbish bins outside the house

Once every 2 weeks
1.\tChange & wash all mats
2.\tBrush and wash 3rd floor balconies
Monthly
1.\tChange & wash cushion covers
2.\tWash living room, dining & kitchen windows
3.\tWash bedroom windows
3.\tClean fans

Once every 2 months
1.\tClean inside of kitchen cupboards
