Hi, was wondering if anyone has heard of this tuition centre. Any reviews? I have recieved a flyer from them but yet to check them out. Has anyone sent your child or heard of someone who sent his/ her child there?

It is that time of the year when we take stock of what we have done for our students in 2014. After much thinking, we have the following points to share.

We decided to trim our maximum class sizes down to 6. The aim was to be able to provide our students the attention that they needed to improve from which ever point they came to us from.

We have decided to revamp our worksheets and teaching methods to better cater to the vast array of abilities in our students. Hence, we put in hours and hours of work, going through all our worksheets and teaching materials. We are proud to say that it has since been completed. We will continue to revise our worksheets, teaching materials and pedagogy accordingly to best help our students.

We started a feedback system through which our student's parents will get timely feedback on how their child is doing during lessons at our centre.

We did all that with only 1 aim in mind. To provide the best that we can to our students. To help them improve from where ever they started.

A year has gone by and we are proud to announce that our students have benefited from our revamps. Parents have been coming to us to show us their children's results and we are very proud to state that a very large majority of them have improved. Parents are satisfied with what we have done for their children. Heartwarming messages come in everyday to thank us for helping their child. Parents walk in with happy faces to tell us that their child improved.

We are thankful for all the positive comments our students' parents have given us. We will continue to strive to give the best that we can give to our students.

We also recently won a prestigious award. :rahrah: Details of that will be released very soon.

Thank you everyone for your support. We will continue to do our best. This is a promise we dare to make and we look forward to helping your child in 2015.

Just to check if anyone is looking for P2 (in 2013) eng class - Sat 1030am - 12pm? as mentioned in my previous post, I’ve signed up for junior wonders and the centre manager has kindly agreed to spilt the existing class if he can find another student to join my DD’s class. Meaning 2 in a class.

I am helping to check if there’s anyone who may be interested. The class is taught by NIE trained tutor. Do PM me if you need more details.

First lesson went alright. I've asked DD how was it as compared to her previous tuition and she happily told me that the lesson was so much more enjoyable.

Her previous Eng tuition covered all sections such as grammar, comprehension,and etc and DD found it very tough to concentrate because she literally had to rush through the many worksheets so that she can complete them within 2 hours.

For JW, I only found a few worksheets in her file after 1st lesson and DD told me that the teacher did go each worksheet and explained to her in detailed. It was easier for her to absorb and she was not so tired. She also mentioned that the teacher will give her break-time and she can read books. She seems to really like the place and the teaching method. Maybe it was not as taxing.

This coming Sat will be her 2nd lesson. I will see what is being covered and update again.

If not mistaken, they just started their operation this year may. So about half a year. Mr Tan has shared with me that he used to be a teacher at one of the primaRy school in Sengkang. Though I know which school but he wants me to keep it confidential. I can pm u if u wanna know more. His wife used to teach and heard quite experienced in handling lower primary. After talking to Mr Tan, know that he is rather selective of teachers which I feel it is good. I do agree that they are new though but they have experienced teachers. He seems very knowledgeable person and knows what he wants. I agree with sub_evo, no harm giviNguyen it a try. I guess every new centres need new parents like us to support them and it’s never easy for a new start.
