The clinic was always crowded, but we liked that the consults were not rushed, and he was always willing to answer our questions. We delayed DS’ vaccinations and he was very supportive of that. DS is almost 8 so we haven’t seen him in some years.

He is patient and nice but always had to queue for a long time… Not sure if he is still in TMC though.

At that time, his charges were already high so I am not surprised that Dr Ang Ai Tin’s first consultation fee is $150-250 now (Dr Ang Poon Liat and Dr Ang Ai Tin are brother and sister). We prefer Dr Ang Poon Liat than Dr Ang Ai Tin as he was more patient (although the consultation time was very brisk). We had tried Dr Ang Ai Tin once when Dr Ang Poon Liat was not around and we did not really like her.

We are forever grateful to Dr Ang Poon Liat as he diagnosed our son of blood disorder in time otherwise we might have lost our son’s life.

This was our experience. We have not gone to TMC for a long time so we don’t know whether it has changed or not.

There are more pediatricians that are better. The first consultation fee is $150 to $250. Also her clinic is very busy, you will expect a long wait. Maybe she is very busy and so she appears impatient, and her consultation is very fast. My daughter had type A Flu and had high fever, she gave all the medication but did not do much to her high fever. After seeing her in the day, my daughter’s fever not only did not come down but shoot up to 40.4 degrees in the evening. We had to rush her to TMC 24 hr clinic. At TMC 24 hr clinic, the doctor and nurses are very experienced with managing high fever, and the doctor told us that Dr Ang Ai Ting’s treatment for the fever was not adequate. It seems that the 24hr clinic is more experience and better than the specialist. Also the nurses at Dr Ang’s clinic are not helpful. My daughter throw out after taking the medicine within about 25mins, I called the clinic if it is necessary to take another dose of the medication. The nurse was very rude and shouted ‘no’ to us. She also did not check with the doctor with her advise. When we were at the 24hr clinic, the doctor told us that we should have taken another dose as the side effect of taking Tamiflu is just drowsiness, it is more important to start the medication earlier.
