Anyone has child taking PSLE this year? I got in touch with an MOE teacher who is willing to give PSLE english tuition to small group of 2-3 students. I am looking for parents interest to form a class, the price will be a lot cheaper than 1-1.

We live near Pasir Ris neighbourhood police centre for almost 21 years. Prior to that, we lived in Loyang Ave. We love East of Singapore as we feel that the air is cleaner and it is more spacial in general, especially between blocks of flats. But now, we seem to miss the trees …

I was an educator for 18 years. I have dreamed to set up a unique school to education and nurture our young in problem solving, interaction skill, innovation and enterprise spirits, as well as good and positive attitude, have the right professionalism and work ethics, besides imparting the domain knowledge and skillset - my thoughts after serving in the education sector for so many years. I hope I have the time to realise this dream.

At the age of 50+, I have decided to re-align my life goal, and now I have become my own boss, focusing on promoting healthy living through the use of olive oil in our everyday diet. I have documented our story in our blog, onlyoliveoil.vas.com.sg - part personal and part business - just want to highlight to you first.

If you have any questions on olive oil, you can ask me. Though I do not have any dealing with education now, it is still part in me, and I will be glad to share what I know.

You can look for tutors and enrichment centres. However you have to coach him/her yourself too. I have a boy in P2. He does not do well in his practise papers (both maths and chinese), so we gave him a lot of practice in maths and send him to Hans language in Loyang pt.

Congrats elletwins! Yes education can be quite a headache but I love having kids. Miss the 9 months and the time when they are a baby. I have 2 boys and 1 girl. All 3 are in their 9,10,11. I am new here too!
