He gets home at 2pm, starts homework at 3pm or later, and goes cycling or swimming at 5pm. At night we will just go through his tingxie and he may do his piano practice. If we go out for dinner, he does nothing. At 9pm I read to them (more for the preschooler), lights out by 9.45pm.

Today he has CCA and will get home at 4pm. He will loiter, do some homework, then go swimming with his friends if it doesn't rain. He will be there for one and a half to two hours. After dinner will be piano practice. That is it.

My younger one came home at 12 plus. After lunch I took him cycling, bought some snacks and set up obstacle courses for him at the playground. Played two games of chess, and showered him. He is entertaining himself now coz I need coffee... :snooze:

ammonite

Reply to How much time you spent with your child on Tue, 09 Apr 2013 07:00:55 GMT

Yes, an ice cream would be nice…but when there is so much school homework and mid-year exam preparation, doubt kids and myself can truly enjoy the taste.
