so from next yr will move... that means teacher's day and children's day will be more than 1mth apart... better still... extra holiday in aug then....

DD school will be having a celebration on 31st Aug.....dun think any extra school holiday planned.

DS school - no news yet.

Son's school - school hours as per normal.
Daughter's school - no news so far.

There's a grp of PV who planned a celebration for for my kids school teachers on 7/9/12.

They are putting up performances....for the teachers.
But I wonder if the teachers would be happy to return to school during the school holiday.
Looks like MOE has to rethink Teachers' Day date because the first Friday in Sep is typically the school holiday...

7 Sep has been marked as a Teachers' Day holiday. Thought it should be 31st Aug instead :?

There is a recent change in the date of Teacher's Day (1st Friday of Sep) & Children's Day(1st Fri of Oct).
