I need help to get what is the birthrate in Singapore from year 2003 to year 2005, mean the number of baby born in Singapore for these 3 years. As My child is born in 2004, need the info. for primary one balloting purposes.

Can anyone help? Thanks in advance.

If I am not wrong.. the yearly cohort also changes every year for some schools. For instance..instead of 4 classes..maybe there are 3 classes.

My kid is sg51. Really cannot remember the reason why it was \"hot \" to have kid in sg51... I don't remember that was a better bonus. šŸ¤”šŸ¤”

Let me share on the Citizen birth rates:

Horse year 2014 was 33.2k and SG50 Goat year was 33.7k and thereafter 2016 Monkey year was 33.1k (source from Dept of Statistics and ICA).

As such, 2014 to 2016 primary school registration (2020 to 2022) will likely see fierce competition like Dragon Year 2012 (which recorded 33.2k citizen births).

Going by Dragon year registration statistics in 2018, I believe 2020 to 2022 registration will be largely similar (with 2021 SG50 batch seeing alittle more intense \"fights\").

I didn't research into gender birth rate except for 2015 SG50 one (as my DD is SG50 girl), which I painstakingly calculated roughly 20k FEMALE vs 13.7k MALE citizen births. This means GIRL schools will be HOT next year 2021 registration.

The above does not take into account new citizens.

Err... the zone where the children were born doesn't really matter because parents move around in order to secure their preferred schools.

the zone doesn't matter because along the way some parents get posted overseas and within 6 years anything can happen. some migrate.
