OMG… it was just so hot… We had to wear sunblocks and hats and frankly… it was just eekkkkk to stay under the hot sun. Don’t ever think we will go in that kind of timing ever.</p>

We chose to go Melbourne during winter time so that we stayed 4D3N at Mt Buller. It is ski resort area. Also if you do plan Mt Buller for your next Winter trip, go during the Open Winter Festive. They have a big celebration with warm wine, Fireworks and performances. 4D3N is just nice. Anything less than that is too short for the kids.</p>

It is also my favorite in Australia.  I even prefer it to Sydney which I find is like any other cosmopolitan city.  Melbourne has more character, I feel. Hervey Bay in north Queensland is a good spot. The other place being Byron Bay (border of Queensland n NSW) <br />Not sure about season for dolphins. U may want to check out Monkey Mia in  WA where wild dolphins come in daily to be fed. I think going to Australia in Nov is ideal as it is not yet summer hence not as hot. In the day, its like Singapore when its not so hot except that it is mostly not humid. Hence very comfortable going about places like Movie World and other theme parks.</p>

Flies are aplenty. In places like Fremantle, Albany and Tasmania, it can get chilly coz the winds are blown over from Antartica.</p>

It also depends on which state you are visiting.
