No amt of money can make up for the emotional and psychological damage she may have inflicted on the little girl.</p>

The teacher is also accused of pushing her young victim on two occasions in July last year, once causing her to fall on a basket of toys and, on another occasion, causing her to fall and hit her forehead on a wooden shelf.<br /><br />She has since been fired.<br /><br />Shin Min reported that after the incident, the teacher felt extremely remorseful and wrote a letter to the child's parents to apologise. This was also one of the mitigating factors the judge considered when handing out the sentence.<br /><br />In his grounds of decision, the judge said that although the offence is a serious one that would normally merit a jail sentence, this particular case was \"no ordinary case\".<br /><br />This is because the teacher herself had suffered \"unspeakable\" abuse for a long time by a person who was supposed to have been protecting her.<br /><br />Her father was later jailed for 14 years and she was diagnosed as suffering from untreated depression. More than just the intellectual capacity of the teacher, the compassion and character of someone who teaches our kids, especially the youngest ones, is something that must be watched. <br /><br /><br />Parents should definitely educate their kids that if they encounter violence in school that they should let their mom and dad know. But then again, we have the over-reactive parents that also need to learn to tone down…</p>

But I believe each child has this in born ability/ sensor within them that tells them that something is not right or they are being hurt.</blockquote></blockquote>Sometimes depends on the \"character\" on kids.  My kid went to childcare last time, only \"stick\" to a few teachers, about 3-4 teachers, the rest my kid would cry or refuse to let them do the morning checks, kick a big fuss when they touch.  So...should I ask only these 3-4 teachers to look after my kid, and refuse the rest of the teachers? <br /><br />But after a few months down the road, no more such problem. What I don’t understand is why the abuse was allowed to continue from 2 mths last year without any kids or the victim herself making any complaints. A 5-yr-old kid shld be able to complain to her parents what she had encountered in school. And even if she was too scared to say anything, what about the other kids?</p>

She could have destroyed a life...what if the little girl grows up to be a bully because of the bad example she was shown repeatedly whilst in kindy?
