The MOE announced recently changes to the assessment components in PSLE English as part of the overall review of the English curriculum and language instructional processes in schools. As parents, you may want to know how does this affect your child. They have been introducing it gradually, starting with P1 and moving upwards progressively. So don’t worry that kids won’t be able to catch up. They’re still learning the same things, just in a different way.

p1 and p2 is honey moon and foundation years. p3 onwards then is prep towards psle. maybe that's why there is no change?

It’s just that the STELLAR programme has been extended to upper primary.

My friend called the school and the school said there's changes in P3 syllabus due to the changes in the upper pri syllabus.. I suggest you check with the school.

DD will be in P4 next year. Bit worried as there wont be any fixed format to follow.
