o\tGraduated from Raffles Institution (Junior College) with A for H2 Literature & General Paper

Tutoring experience:

o\tTaught 3 PSLE kids English, Math & Science in 2014
o\tAll achieved A* in their respective subjects

Currently available to teach primary school EMS / lower secondary school English only

I signed up already! They have opened more time slots which fits my time on Sat. Make a call to check with them, the class is starting very soon in Feb.
I've viewed their worksheet samples. The staff explained to me that this program would give my child exposure and prepare him for P1 Maths. That's the reason I join them![/quote]Hi Little Bug,

I have signed up too and mine is on Sat morning. How abt urs? Morning also? Ya they have showed me the materials and roughly explain what will be taught in the class. Hopefully it's good and really helps in my girl's understanding.

Please let me know if Learning Point maths for upper pri is good because my kid is in upper primary and needs help. Cost is also a consideration. Are they expensive?

Hi, I am new to this forum. My DD is appearing PSLE 2015. I am looking for Math enrichment center near CCK / Bt Batok / Bt Gombak area. Currently I am staying at Bt Gombak. It will be highly appreciated if anyone can recommend me any center.

DS has been with Mindstretcher since P4. His Maths foundation is kind of above average hence so far has no issues following the school and tuition class since entering primary school.

However, during the preparation of CA1 (P5) from the school, I noticed he is not quite versed with the various problems sums. I asked if Mindstretcher has taught the class the same topic and he said they have.

That sets me thinking:
1) Is mindstretcher going too fast but not going deep into the topic which compromise understanding?
2) Is it DS who is not able to comprehend the topic at P5 and needs more time? Is that expected for P5 kids even at other tuition centre?
3) For parents with kids at mindstretcher in upper primary, can you share your experience if their group tuition and ways of teaching are good enough?

I am ready to pull him out for 1-1 tuition as I do not want to waste money and time at P5. I have had my horrible experience with DS1 and not keen to do it again :roll: .

Well, for primary tuition, just go to the nearest, cost-effective, and most important the one that you kid enjoy going , and then she will learn. :imcool:
