If there are good airfare lobang that allows you good savings, you can still reconsider. For us, I like the hampton inn & suites under hilton group. Decent family room at decent prices. We've family of 5 and to accomodate everyone in a room at decent price was a bonus.

The issue is really the exchange rate. I was in US 2 weeks back and given that it was hovering at 1.38 - 1.40, you sort of have to give it a second thoughts even when shopping at outlets. Apparently I managed to change some cash at 1.32 but my credit card rate was 1.39 average.... Your itinerary has too many places and too tiring for us and my 2 kids, 9 and 7.

You managed to cover so many places with max 10k?? I don't feel safe taking China airlines leh. I planned to go LA & LV. Have checked the airfare for 2A2C, it cost 5k+ for reputable airlines, tickets for 4-day Disney 2 parks will cost more USD1000. Also thought of going Universal studio and maybe Knott's berry farm but worried of the expenses. I have not even include the accommodation for the 2 places and car rental. As for car rental, my friend suggested to drive from Anaheim to LV and back to save on the expenses. \"Boss\" only budgeted 12k for holiday trip, I was thinking how to make full use of it. I am worried 12k might not be enough and have to change destination.
