his reply was :shock: , he said children's day celebration is postponed till after exam. he applied leave to coach his kids for their coming exam.

Maybe MOE should consider changing the Children day to say March, away from exams?

Children's Day is 5 October.

PSLE marking is 15-19 October.
Exams will start the week after PSLE marking (20th onwards)...I think Children's Day is reasonably \"far\" from the exam...PSLE marking will be a good time for parents (who are not teachers) to take time off to revise with their children.

So the next BIG event on the MOE calendar....GEP selection tests!!!

Oh yes! I forgot about the GEP selection falling on the same dates as PSLE Marking....to all P3 parents, good luck!

DD had her oral last week, and next week she has her English and Chinese papers. And after the PSLE marking days, the rest of her papers.

Yes, revision needs to be done but I think we can afford that 1 day break to celebrate.

Yes, I have a younger one in P2. She has SA2, starting with Oral from 8th Oct. Written papers after the PSLE marking days.
My son will be at home since there is nothing to do in school.
