Had only about 4 hours of sleep (both him and me).  <img src="https://forum.kiasuparents.com/assets/plugins/nodebb-plugin-emoji/emoji/android/1f622.png?v=f4f27f6278e" class="not-responsive emoji emoji-android emoji--cry" style="height:23px;width:auto;vertical-align:middle" title=":cry:" alt="😢" /> <br /><br />PD prescribed Zyrtec (droplet) but it seemed to work better for me than him. The medicine did not work for my boys ( in fact it got worse) and myself so I gave up TCM  for many years before I believe in them again, after seeing my family members treated by the current one we are seeing.  All I can say is sometimes, it will depend if the medicine is prescribed is suitable, you have to try and observe yourself.  But I have to say that These days, the boys seldom see western doctors.<br /><br />I will pm you the TCM That my boys are seeing now.</p>

Finally we just gave up and let it be. The sesame oil helped but he hated it absolutely. Nowadays he's fine, but sometimes relapses. DS2 is the one nagging about blocked nose these days - but his doesn't seem as bad as DS1's symptoms then. Do you know if this is true?<br /><br />We stop visiting for a while when ds came down with fever and we had to take him to a western doctor. He ate loads of TCM medication that helped to alleviate a bit, but the problem never really went away. <br /><br /><br />At someone's recommendation, we used pure sesame oil (NOT the type that's mixed with veg oil). Dip cotton bud into the sesame oil, and dab gently inside the nostrils. <br /><br />after a couple of weeks, the sinus mysteriously went away. We stopped for a while. It usu. comes in one long piece.  you can request to cut and buy a length you want.  Btw, if the insides has lots of black dots, it is turning bad.
