I finally took the safest way out... bought her $50 Popular Voucher.. then she can get anything she fancies.. but the thing is I think I saw her receiving 3 of such envelopes that night.. :lol:

err. just wondering..any ideas what type of books an 11 yo gal would like? Neighbour's DD1 birthday party coming up.. I know she loves to read, is training for ballet exams and wushu.. last resort would be to ask her mummy.. but trying to dig for some info here...

Have you heard of \"I Read 320 books at 9...so can you!\" by Dayna Tan? I glanced thru it and it is indeed quite interesting. Also a lot of good reviews from those in the education industry. Fyi, this book was written by Dayna when she was about 10 or 11, and quite recently.


Her love for reading is wide-ranging. Quite an amazing girl!

Take loads of pictures of them.. when they are abt 3-4 yo show them and they will refuse to accept that that was indeed their own pix!! :lol:
