He will tell me that the teacher says dont need to hand in… So I will wait for his subject files to come back and just file in… I thoughts are that there are just too much to mark so they just ask the kids to do as revisions so that at least they are doing some work at home as not all kids will do much assessment books on their own.

This term, they have started on homework on Ask&Learn on a weekly basic. So more homework but teacher dont have to mark since the system will do the marking…

My kid is in P3, his mid year exam papers are still in his school bag. The teacher did not ask them back. So I am waiting for the subject files to be back to do the filing. Shouldn’t the teacher recalled the exam papers after the parents signed them? Yes, acknowledgement forms are also sitting in his folder.

Anyone notice the June holidays Asknlearn, the questions set are in pdf? The resolution is so bad.

Haha, I thought this only happens to P1 and P2. What's puzzling is why didn't the children remind the teachers to hand it in? They are already P5! Shouldn't be spoonfed and hand in only when told to do so. They should have more initiative.

          Hi Mashy,
Thats the reason I advised for those parents thinking of Anderson Primary, unless they really do not have a choice, opt for others...

I am not to sure if the kids ever take back those homework (after marking) that they did from Asknlearn. Anyone to advise?

The homework done in AsknLearn are marked immediately once you submitted online. So I dont think the teachers will print out for the students. If you want to know how your kids fare, you can login to check his work.

But I do know that the teacher do check if the kids have gone online to do their work as my son told me that 17 of his classmates did not do their Science holiday homework and she requested them to complete them on the first week.

I think it is because of the name Anderson. Some parents might misunderstood that Anderson Pri is affiliated to Anderson Sec, which is a band 1 school.

Even if nea checked and determined it to be not fit for human consumption, all they get is a warning and business as usual.

That's what my teacher friend told me. Her sch canteen stall Kenna before but still continued after a mere warning.

No wonder kids have food posioning :slapshead:

Parents have to make complains & kids have to boycott the food stalls. If still does not work, write to MOE through ST forum. This is a serious matter & the school should not take it so lightly.

                        Hi,

Does anyone have suggestions on where we can get ethnic costumes for kids?
The school is celebrating RH Day this Friday. Do most kids put on ethnic costumes?
                        Thanks.
