- Any SPRs got into the school? Since I heard that the school is not easy to get in~ But I saw the past few yrs ballot results there are available vacancies on 2C

I know this thread goes way back in the years so it might be a long shot. I would just like to check what's the name of the student care centre opposite SACPS and if you sent your girls there, how much did you pay?


Do any of you have any information for school buses and their operating distance/time? What time does class end everyday? We stay in Tampines.

I also wonder why there are so many vacancies left and we're worried it might be up for merger soon.

My girl is entering there P1 next year!

Our girl is due to attend P1 next year and we've pretty much narrowed down to Tampines Pri (cos of hub's alum) and St Anthony's. From what I've gleaned from the forums & posts so far, St Anthony's seems to be a pretty well-balanced, holistic school and it sounds great for my girl's personality. Really hope we can get a place!

I just wanted to check in to see if anyone has any recent comments given the tough past year and how the school handled everything?

Generally IMO, all boys/girls school English standard quite high, and speak generally good English. Since you are from IJ, that's a different story. It makes sense for you to go back to IJ if logistics is not too bad.

If got chance to join CHIJ Katong primary, should join there instead, come (P5 and P6).

Don't get yourself confused, it has nothing to do with the name \"CHIJ\" per say,

but

it is how some Tr teach in this school, in certain P6 class

Because

At end of P4, there is streaming.
If you get streamed to a better class, with good Teachers, good for you

On the other hand,
since this school is much closer to your house, in terms of distance travelling everyday, can save lots of precious time travelling, this is definitely true too

Hi phtthp, looks like teachers in IJ katong have selective commitment in teaching, some class teachers tend to be more commited than the other? U or someone u know have some experience with IJ katong, can share more?
