I think they are thinking in terms is future enrollment.

The West Coast / Pandan Reservoir population (not many young families cos no new BTOs there) is already well-served by Kent Ridge Sec. After Tanglin Sec shuts down, those who want near their house will apply Kent Ridge Sec right?

New Town Sec is closer to Clementi (bigger population of potential students) and also more accessible cos got buses plying the major road nearby.

They are quite supportive…I am happy my DD is a Eunosian…thanks…Parul
