Edgefield Primary has been around since we started monitoring in 2006. Throughout the years, there is:
- no balloting in Phase 2A (1 or 2),
- no balloting in Phase 2B,
- some balloting in early years 2011 and 2014 in Phase 2C, but it seems to have lots of places left over for Phase 2C(S) in recent years, since 2016.

Bullying happens in almost every schools right? even the top schools.

We have finished buying all the school stuff and admin registration. We are only pending buying the chinese book because they advise me to wait for the MOE letter approval if my child can take mandarin as MT. Anyone who has a similar situation as mine? Can MOE change our MT choice to some other language? We are not chinese speaking at home but I am preparing my child by sending her to mandarin tuition. It will be such a waste if they will change our chosen MT.

My daughter just got her PR approval but we missed the phase 2c registration.
Luckily she got school at Edgefield Primary school since we signed up for the letter of intent last June.
The schedule as per the paper they gave me below.
Admin Excercise/Buying of school things on October 15- 16 at 8:30 - 11:30 am
Orientation on November 8 at 5pm

Does anyone know how long does a principal usually stay in a Primary School and how does MOE allocate the Principals? Does the principal has a say in this or is solely a MOE directive?

I'm glad that it helps!
Principals usually stay in a school for more than five years. But depending on various factors (such as health issues, need to lay foundation for the sch's development etc), they might be asked to shorten or extend their stay.
No idea how MOE allocate the principals but read from somewhere that the process of appointing and rotating principals is systematic and is to allow schs to benefit from the infusion of fresh perspectives and share best practices.

I suggest you read this 2013 http://www.aps.sg/files/principia/principia_newsletter_-_v10.pdf. It's about him beginning a newly established sch and how he has built his dream. Anw, I've heard from people who have worked with him before commending him.
