They are all about the same. Seems like the parents from these schools are classically non-kiasu. We don’t see them coming to this forum.

But the problem is, in this stressful year 2020, if I have to ballot at 2C Supp again,
because I don't know the numbers, since the schools stopped their admin from disclosing figures, I won't even know (annoying / frustrating)

- whether is it 31 applicants balloting for 30 seats at 2CS, or


- whether is it 60 applicants balloting for 30 seats, at 2CS.

The numbers, have become a black box mystery now.

Just don't want to risk anymore balloting at 2CS, because in the event if balloted out again at 2C Supp, MOE will just assign me the closest primary school, which I am not keen in

I thought the recommendation by gurus here so far is to avoid balloting in P2CS?

What if you are the unlucky 31st? Probability, though low, still exists and nobody can guarantee anything. Nobody can provide any solace either to you if you are balloted out of both P2C and P2CS.

Some primary schools do provide school bus, but not to the area where some students stayed too far away. Best that u contact that primary school’s admin, ask for the sch bus operator contact number, then contact the sch bus operator directly yourself, to confirm


Example

Marymount primary got school bus. But if student stay too far away in the extreme east like Tampines or Changi or Pasir ris, don’t think got sch bus go there so far, to fetch students.

Same, for Cedar primary.
Their fleet of school buses only go to certain designated areas to fetch students

Is important that, you find out first whether got sch bus to your area. Don’t after register your daughter into a Phase 2CS school, realize that "oh dear, No sch bus come to fetch my girl. How is she going to school then ? "

If you are within 1 km from Rgps, are you also > 2 km from CHIJ QP ?
because if > 2 km,
may not have chance to ballot under 2C Supp

With current TUR of 79%, there would be a good change to ballot SC>2km, or sure in, based on historical stats. Of coz, it's best to wait till last day to check the no. of applicants.

38 seats in 2CS for CHIJ QP is considered good catch based on historical. It is either sure in or good balloting chance SC>2km. You might want to wait till last day to see availability to make your decision.

I would strongly suggest not to go for it if balloting is involved, unless you are very certain where MOE might place you if you fail to ballot.

Firstly, wish you luck in your RGPS ballot. If unlucky, you might want to consider below. Not too far to travel since you are willing to travel to RGPS, BTPS and NTPS.

BTPS many years all in 2CS, only 2018 and 2019 need to ballot SC>2km, I think the trend is clear. NTPS past 10 over years all in 2CS, except 2012 ballot PR>2km. After 2CS, MOE will just post you to a nearest school with vacancies, no choosing.
