Hope someone here can help with my queries about the school.

1) Do they split the lunch/recess into 2 sessions for the lower and upper primary classes?

2) Are there any specific weekly music lessons planned into the timetable for the lower primary classes? Or is there any music book listed on the annual booklist?

3) When do the children start to have Higher Mother Tongue classes? Is it in P2 or older?

4) Does the school stream the kids at any levels or do they have an overall mixed-ability environment throughout P1-P6?

5) Do the P1s get to have an upper primary buddy for the 1st week of school?

6) Is it possible for you to share a copy of the class timetable & booklist for P1 please? If yes, kindly blank-out class/child name prior to sharing.

I managed to walk around and saw that Tampines Sec is totally linked together with the pri sch. But secs sch students will not cross over to pri sch right?

We are now in phase 2C for registration. We are SPR and live >2kms away. but have not much choices and found this school pretty ok.

Any reviews from exisiting parents or who are planning to enrol for P1 - 2015...please share before we enroll tomorrow.

Also, student care details aren't on their school website, can please share details for this too. Who is eligible and what is it all about?

My DS is currently in P3 of TPS. I will be enrolling my DD in the same sch in few mths time. I think the sch put more emphasis on character building and joyful learning proces. DS always look forward to sch opening during the sch holiday.

The student care has just started in April.

SS is Social Studies.

When my DS was in P1/P2, the PAL lesson varies. Some term they had gymnastic lessons, some term they were exposed to simple science knowledge by exploring the school with the teacher guidance.

I have spoken to his tc, during PE days… No need change out of PE.
No need bring extra set… Can wear it the whole day…

Hi belle, i wasnt sure either. I ironed my son's on the pocket above the crest. Then went to the school this morning and saw both versions, on the pocket and above the pocket. So i guess maybe either way is fine? need to iron on the PE t-shirt also right? anyway, does anyone know if the kids need to change out of the PE attire after the PE lesson?

Im a student that graduated in 2010 and I have to say this is the best school ever. The teachers were all caring and understanding and they are all willing to go the extra mile for the students. During my year, they held extra lessons on saturday to prepare us for PSLE. I came to this school as a foreigner in primary 2 and the following year, I got promoted to tbe best class and I stayed there for the rest of my time in tps. On overall, my class did pretty well for the PSLE and some of them got into top schools such as hwa chong, Dunman High, Anglican High, Nus, Raffles girls and Chung cheng high. I kinda slacked off so I did not do as well as them. Still, im really thankful that the school helped me to improve and also manage my own personality. This is definitely one of the top schools in tampines
