But the principal, Ms Lian, was very patient with him. She was also very patient with my wife and me (I pushed Ms Lian to go faster but she advised us otherwise as she thought it was in the best interest of my ds, and was very assuring). Homework was quite an issue too as sometimes my ds could not perform at home and it can be quite anxiety inducing, but it's much better now and he's very quick with his mental calculation. We've been with them for about 3 years now and it's been a fruitful journey with them.<br /><br />He's progressing very well in his advanced mental arithmetic now, so I will be sending him to other E&amp;P courses as well.  (Smart Maths, for his primary school math programmes) I'll be roping in some friends too if they are interested.<br /><br />PS: If anyone has a language school to recommend, please contact me. If kids can’t catch up, they will ask you to pull your kids out. They feel that they are the “gifted” school and keep pushing and pushing.  Kids only feel stressed.</p>

I don’t know whether they are using the same method or not. One thing for E &amp; P is they only have 2 centres ( one in Orchard and another one in Yishun ) wherelse the CMA they have many centres all over Singapore. As for the IQ test, my girl just took the SOI test organise by the E &amp; P… but I am not too sure they are recognised by MOE. My girl’s teacher did not mention to me about this… Maybe I need to ask her about it.</p>
