<![CDATA[Secondary School for PSLE score 239 for AMK Ave 6 resident]]>Hi there


My daughter got a score of 239 😓

Considering the CCA, min score and our residence near Yio Chu Kang MRT (AMK), we came up with following matrix :?

My ranking and my daughter's ranking is mentioned in the above table along with 2011 intake.

What is your suggestion?


My understanding is that the computer will select the school from our choices in the order of intake not in our order of selection. Is this correct? :?

If follow DH's choice- Presbytrian Sec, if St Mar COP remains as its Dragon Yr.

With 239, why never opt Nan Chiau?
Bec it is far from our residence

Also, I saw that yr DD is into CCA- DRAMA.
Hv u thot of TKGS? ( if u don't mind distance)
DRAMA is TKGS forte. They even hv a Drama Elective Prog. For a Girls' sch, it's the best in academic rank'g among the Girls' Schs u hv chosen.

Yes, selection based on Merits.
Since those 2 Schs I hv recommended are too far, i really hope yr DD can get into St Margaret.
