I heard there’s this Edusave (Independent Schools) Yearly Awards which has a similar function but I think that applies only after entering the Independent JC, right? If this is the case, then the expensive monthly school fees still has to be paid for a year before the grant is available, which for my case, is rather financially unsound. Furthermore, I don’t think my family income is eligible for FAS, so you can say I come from a middle income family. Yet, due to various commitments my family has to make, there’s really not much left to pay the exhorbitant school fees (which in my case, would be 300 SGD as I’m a Singaporean.) Is there any solution to this?</p>

See here: <a href="http://www.moe.gov.sg/education/scholarships/moe-preu/">http://www.moe.gov.sg/education/scholarships/moe-preu/</a><br /><br /><br />As you mentioned, there is also the Edusave Yearly Awards, Financial Assistance Scheme and Bursary.
