It's just the way men are built; they can have sex without emotional attachments to women. Whereas most women can't. So even though recently there are more cases of women teachers preying on young boys, statistically there are far more male teachers who have preyed on young girls sexually. The maths dictate that the chance of getting molested by female teachers/tutors are still far lower than that of the males.

This is life and a lot of things are out of my control. As I have mentioned, parents are much more wary when it comes to male educators. I have had many enquiries rejected because I am male even though I make it mandatory for parents to sit in my lesson for young kids. The paranoia created by the recent media coverage is getting stronger and hence I propose the above solution. It is probably not feasible now as these 'chemical castration' drugs have serious side effects. But if in the future the drugs can work for a specified amount of time, let's say, 12 hours, I will be glad to participate.

Dreamaurora

Reply to Relief teacher charged with sexual offences with 13yr o girl on Sun, 23 Dec 2012 08:17:09 GMT

Wow don’t you think ‘chemical castration’ as you defined it a bit extreme,

Imagine yourself as a teacher/educator and think about it.
