There is no perfect wedding - some things screwed up along the way.

Realistically, there is no perfect life. However, we can overcome each stage and learn to live better.

Travelling from CCK to Toa Payoh and back might seems as a killer to a lot of people. It's either we change the environment or we adapt to the environment. Or ask yourself can we benefit from it in some ways?

When i used to ask some close friends out, they will say comments such as \"so far\", \"can meet near my house or not\" or even \"wa lau eh, meet so far for what\".

Singapore is not as big as most countries. When i went oversea for business trip, we have to travel 1 hr plus to reach the place. And their traffic is like a war zone....car zig zag like avoiding missiles.

It will be a good story to let your kids know that travelling is easier now than their grandparents' time. Buses were without aircon, no MRT and travelling is really not that convenient.

One of the solutions now is whether your mum can stay at your place to take care of the kids. Might not be visible as you would have do that already.

Or change your kids school.

Or have your kids go to a kids centre near your place.

If neither above does not work, bear with it for a few more years and your kids will grow up. Then give them E Card and they will travel by themself
:celebrate:

SGoku

Reply to Mummy wimdils: hi everyone.. on Sat, 08 Aug 2009 03:52:40 GMT

thanks everyone, for the warm welcome…

just would like to get some insight…

currently, i live in CCK Crescent. my two go to MMI Claymore in Orchard. and after school, my kids go to my mom’s place in Toa Payoh. the travelling time from CCK to town is a killer 40 min(expressways!). then, will pick them up at about 7 pm,to make the journey back to CCK.

this wasn’t always the situation.
