Like today, he has to be in school till 6pm bcos of CCA orientation. I asked him to finish whatever he can, if time permits or he would be too tired when he returns.
P3: daughter has homework everyday...but still manageable.

Yes, I love the idea of schools testing frequently...this way they are kept on their toes :xedfingers:
Son told me English teacher taught them phrases to boost compo...also new component like persuasive writing. First test should be in week 7...even before CNY. This kind of 'pushing' will really make kids wake up to reality...no longer primary school.

Nowadays very difficult to get teachers who care enough to be ‘fierce’ or ‘enforce discipline’. Am old school and I think this is important. I still believe that there is some merit in the teaching methods that I grew up with though I know not everyone will think so.

Hmmm.

Sec 1 : Zero work. Still playing & today is last day of orientation.
P6 : load Started yesterday. Quite tedious cos supposed to read up energy & do notes & concept map plus other schwork all within a few hours. But expected, kids after long holiday still in gear1 - slow & happily then suddenly realised sleeping time still yet to complete & panic. :rotflmao:
Sec 1: first math test today. Finished written work but will have to revise science later.
P3: Chinese homework given. Given form to attend enrichment for Chinese.
My calendar has lots of scribbles already...who is dismissed at what time & who stays back for activity.

those rainy days seem to be over...hot days are here again. we went out for quick lunch yest and was so tired when we returned. son has indicated his interest for CCA. school lessons begin this week...i've planned a time table for both kids, hope it gives them a guide what to do everyday.
