DS and I took our pledge at the front of Hitachi Tower,joined the crowd, just to see the fireworks, scream with excitement, believe the pledge was taken immediately after the 1st round fireworks?? No one in the crowd, from where i can see, joined in for the pledge taking. Anyway, ds & i enjoyed!! :celebrate:

Oh that is a good place to watch the parade... Can see from the big screen and then get to see the fireworks live 😄

It would be cool if everyone stopped and said their pledge together... Anyway this is the first yr they are doing it... So hopefully this will catch on in subsequent parades :celebrate:

Went to the Parade. Carried my 16kg sleeping boy from Marina Sq to the Floating Platform....can hardly feel my arms now 😉. Kiasu me reached before 5pm.

Parade ended at 8.45++, we left the carpark almost an hour later (imagine the jam!!). Reached home 10pm++. Kid dozed off in the car. Just managed to settled down.

Atmosphere is electrifying!

Thot we liked this year's parade, well arranged and the prog progressed very seamlessly... Not draggy at all :celebrate:

we will be joining the crowd at Fullerton to watch the fireworks. If there is someone who is taking the Pledge at 8.22pm, it is likely kids and i will join in :celebrate: , not dh, he finds it too :oops: , or rather say that he is not sporting one! 😛
