I registered my #2 during Phase 2 day 1, I only managed to get PM slots. But I put my name on waiting list for AM session, and I managed to get AM slots before the school term starts.

Yes, phase 3 will be left with little or no vacancies. When I registered my #1 for N2, I got in through waiting list. Usually when children move from N1 to N2 or N2 to K1, there will be more vacancies. K1 & K2 has a bigger class size.

Yesterday, there was a queue of about 20 parents at 8+am for Phase 1 Day 1 registration.

Prepare to bring along sleeping bag and camp overnight. Take your child go with you in the morning for Phase 3. That was the past how some parents secure a vacancy for their children. Once the eldest child gets in, the rest of the siblings will get priority for Phase 1 registration in subsequent years.


If you are the type of parents who expects lots of worksheets from the school, this school will be unsuitable for your child. What your child needs is an enrichment centre or tuition centre. This kindergarten focuses on holistic learning and character development through learning the right values. Teachers are great but the price of the kindergarten fees is on the steep side!

Phase 1 is for those kids with siblings currently studying in the school. The school will give out a letter to inform you to indicate your interest to register. Phase 1 should be confirmed vacancies. My niece is in Phase 1 this year.

As far as I remember LSK does not teach HYPY. But usually parents send the kids to Tien Hsia or Berries for HYPY enrichment.

My case is similar to Tazy, my elder child is now studying in LSK and my younger child is planning to attend 2016 class.
From what you suggested, I think I will receive the application form via my elder child. That is very good.

BTW, after I fill in the form, should I queue up to submit or I can submit via my elder child before the actual submission date? Or I can submit the form anytime and still got priority to get the seat for my younger child?
