Their instructors teach mainly adults, so they aren’t able to handle very young kids. Below age 7 the kids can sign up for Cajon lessons, which is mainly for FUN only.

Their instructors are nice & very encouraging, even if you have no music background they will come down to your level and teach at your pace - I saw how they encouraged my keyboard classmates with zero piano background. I can’t learn from You Tube videos I dunno why.

I am taking a beginner drum class for adults at Believer Music and it’s going great.

What is not so great is the lack of choice of lesson timings and locations. The target market seems to be young working adults, so the timings are mostly lunch time or evenings. The lessons follow a fixed curriculum schedule, so if I cannot attend one lesson, I have to makeup within that same week or I will have to initiate a quick 2 minute catch up with the teacher at the next lesson.

I want to take more advanced lessons and I learn fast because I have a music background already. Looking for a drum school with more flexible schedule. Preferably can accelerate more lessons in a week if I’m free or pick up extra fast.

Or a personal drum teacher who has a home studio. I do not have my own drum kit yet, only have the drumsticks to practise. Am learning for fun because I enjoy Rock Music and would like to learn the common moves plus fills.
