After all, what more can we add or take away, except to shufffle some minor topics? The main topics like whole numbers, fractions, percentage and ratio will always be there.<br /><br /><br />MOE does hope to change the way math is being taught.<br /><br />Another way MOE makes changes is to control the level of difficulty through the branch SEAB that sets the PSLE paper and adjust the weightage of various topics.<br /><br />But what I have found over the years is that no matter how tough or easy the paper is, children who are well prepared will always do well. Children who are not well prepared, will still not do well, even when the paper is easy.</p>

Or are the secondary school teachers saying that the primary school teachers are not teaching Maths properly. Of course there are good and bad teachers both in primary and secondary schools. <br />By the way, I’m not a primary school teacher.
